Bail set at $350K for man accused of punching, killing tourist

LAS VEGAS - Bail was set at $350,000 for the man accused of punching and killing a tourist standing in line at a downtown Las Vegas club.

James Beach, 27, is charged with murder in the death of 45-year-old Luis Campos, as father of five, who died following a punch to his head on April 30. Campos never regained consciousness after the punch and died four days later in the hospital.

Beach has a previous conviction for attempted murder for which he served five years in prison.

Police say the punch was unprovoked.

Beach's attorney says the incident was a terrible accident.

If Beach makes bail, he will be on house arrest.
