McGregor applies for Nevada boxing license

LAS VEGAS - Conor McGregor is serious about fighting Floyd Mayweather. The MMA legend has applied for his boxing license in Nevada.

McGregor has made a deal with UFC kingpin Dana White. It's up to Mayweather to sign on.

If it happens, it could be the most lucrative fight ever with estimates ranging up to $1 billion. The pay-per-view could cost around $200.

Mayweather's camp has been surprisingly quiet. Sources say they are talking to White about a possible deal.
