Police looking for suspect in deadly shooting near wash

LAS VEGAS - Police are investigating the shooting death of a man in a homeless camp Thursday night.

The shooting happened near a wash in the area of East Owens and Stevens Street, east of Pecos Road. According to police, when they arrived at the scene, they found a Hispanic man with multiple gunshot wounds.

Their investigation indicates there was a dispute between the victim and the shooter that ended with the shooting. The suspect is described as a Hispanic man 5-foot-7-inches-tall, weighing around 140 pounds with dark-slicked back hair, clean shaven, who was last seen wearing a black and white striped shirt and blue jeans. He was also riding a white BMX type bicyle.
