Recorded meeting creates controversy for Nevada AG

CARSON CITY, Nev. - Nevada Attorney General Adam Laxalt has been under fire after word got out earlier this year of a recorded conversation with the state's top gaming regulator.

The conversation shows Laxalt asking the gaming control board to intervene in a lawsuit involving Sheldon Adelson's Las Vegas Sands corporation.

It triggered a legislative hearing into the matter Wednesday night.

Politics NOW Reporter Patrick Walker sat down with the assemblywoman behind the hearing.
