LAS VEGAS - Nevada Highway Patrol says an unmarked Henderson police patrol vehicle was hit during a traffic stop Thursday night.
They tell 8 News NOW the crash happened around 9:30 p.m. on I-215 westbound near Valley Verde.
NHP says during the traffic stop, a vehicle rear-ended the patrol car and caused it to slam into the driver's car they pulled over.
They add two officers were standing next to vehicles at the time of the crash and sustained leg injuries. The woman that was pulled over was also near the officers and were hurt. All three were taken to Sunrise Hospital.
The driver who caused the initial crash also was injured and taken to St. Rose Dominican Hospital.
